What is Sintel BI

Sintel BI is a SharePoint Online add-in for building dashboards, reports and apps from the data your organisation already keeps in Microsoft 365: SharePoint lists, Excel files and SQL databases. It runs inside your SharePoint sites and uses SharePoint's own permissions, so there's no separate portal or data copy to manage.

It's for business teams who want to see and share their numbers without writing code: grids, charts, KPI cards, filters, Kanban boards and calendars, put together by drag and drop. IT installs it once, and after that site owners and their teams build and maintain their own dashboards. See What you can build for examples.

Combined with Sintel Apps, Sintel's forms and workflow product, you can build complete apps that capture data and report on it, with no code.

Modern sites only

Sintel BI can't be set up on classic team sites. Only modern SharePoint sites are supported. If you have a classic team site, convert it to a modern site first.
